Here is an interesting tidbit. Canadian Business magazine, May 10, 2010 issue, rated Twitter apps a loser in this weeks Winners and Losers score card. Here is what they had to say:

“Social-media platform Twitter unveiled its business model in April, announcing plans to internalize functions like link-shortening and photo-posting, dismaying third-party  developers of products like Bit.ly and Twitpic, created to fill those demands.”

Well, they had a good run, I guess.

Also listed among the losers of the week were Goldman Sachs, Palm, Drugstores, Peter Bissonnette, sardines, CIBC, and Alan Greenspan. What’s that? Who and/or what are the winners, you ask? Peter Munk, Oprah Winfrey, Eric Sprott, Railways, and Conan O’Brien.
