For our last Facebook Friday blog entry, we touched upon such matters as Facebook acquiring Friendfeed and where to go on Facebook to find items like your privacy statement or your rights as a Facebook user. For the purpose of this blog, I would like to go in a different direction and talk about stupid Facebook groups.
I have written an article that I would love for you to read, entitled: Pointless Facebook Groups That Allow Us to Socially Network While Socially Networking For the Sole Purpose of Social Networking. Please take a moment to look it over. There is a good chance that you will be amused and, if you are a friend of mine on Facebook, incredibly insulted as I may have used you as an example. No hard feelings, okay? I love you even though you join stupid groups so you can love me even though I make fun of you for joining stupid groups, right? I will even let it slide if you tease me (only a little) about the iMark group.
