Facebook Friend?
This topic was first was brought to our attention via Twitter by @Alex_Zubarev. It is an MSNBC article discussing the magic behind all of those “friend” suggestions that we have been getting on our sidebar. Of course, we have been getting suggestions for a while now, but lately they seem to be getting a little more….relevant.
There are people like me who just ignore unsuitable suggestions (after all, if I can ignore the wouldbe matchmaking talents of my great aunt Agnes, I should be able to deflect FB without any problem at all), but there are some people who are more miffed than the rest of us over these impertinent friend suggestions, accompanied by a profile pic of that creepy ex boyfriend, b*** who stole your promotion, or ex-neighbour who claimed that running over your cat was an accident. You can read the article, Facebook: ‘Why Not Give Your Ex Another Shot?” or, if you are so inclined, you can simply remove the Facebook Friend Finder app (you may have to be logged into FB before clicking on this link) and forget about that jerk of an ex forever.
